Which platform should I choose?

For a server, Linux x86-64 is the best-tested target. Windows is usually the quickest way to evaluate on a laptop. For edge hardware, use the ARM64 build.

Do I need a licence key to install?

No. Install and run it without a key, and connect it to your own equipment before you talk to anyone. Get in touch when you are ready to license it.

What does the free evaluation allow?

Install and run the full platform without a licence key and connect it to real equipment. Every feature is available while you evaluate; you license it when you put it into production.

Question 4

What is not in this release?

Accepted Answer

Siemens S7 and EtherNet/IP drivers, single sign-on, and hot-standby redundancy. Those are on the roadmap and not in 1.0. If one of them blocks you, say so — customer requirements set our build order.

Question 5

Can I run it alongside my existing SCADA?

Yes, and for an evaluation that is what we would suggest. Read from your incumbent system over OPC UA or MQTT and add the namespace, historian, 3D and analytics layer without touching what is running production.
